The Le'Nalors News of The Week - Lions Release Cornerback Wanted By Police

Carolina Panthers vs Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have released cornerback Cameron Sutton, who is the subject of an active police search in Florida. An arrest warrant was issued for Sutton on March 7. He is wanted on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation, which carries a five-year prison sentence. However, police have been unable to locate Sutton, nor contact his attorney. Sutton fled the scene of the alleged battery, a house in Lutz, on the morning of March 7. Furthermore, a police source told ESPN that there was "evidence of wounds" on the alleged victim's body.

Sutton joined the Lions as a free agent in 2023 after six years with the Steelers. Furthermore, he started all 17 regular-season games for the Lions last season, registering 60 tackles. Additionally, Sutton played his college ball at Tennessee before being drafted in the third round in 2017. Carlton Davis III and Emmanuel Moseley are currently listed as the Lions' starting cornerbacks. This remains a developing story.

Juvenile has assured fans of the Hot Boys that they’ll be able to see the group in concert soon — though he didn’t say exactly when.

The “Back That Azz Up” rapper talked to TMZ on Saturday (March 9) to share the scoop about the status of the long-awaited reunion, now that group member B.G. has been released from prison.

“No negativity from me, man,” he said. “You know, with me, I’m always like, ‘It’s gon’ happen.’ It’s gonna happen. We gotta let them simmer down a little bit. But trust me though, it’s happening.”

The Le'Nalors News of The Week - Chris Brown Could Lose Home Amid $1.76 Million Popeyes Debt

Back in late September of last year, Chris Brown was handed down a $2 million dollar lawsuit from Popeyes. The fast-food chicken establishment has become a staple in the business even with its fellow counterparts like KFC, Church's, and more. It is part of the reason why the R&B superstar invested in two locations. However, he has not held up his end of the deal as according to the documents from City National Bank. Brown owed $22,140,901.74 in unpaid principal and interest. The lawsuit was filed in California. The singer still has not fulfilled that request about six months later, meaning the consequences are now more serious.

This latest update comes from The Neighborhood Talk and Hollywood Unlocked. They both report that he has exactly 30 days to pay back the outstanding debt. However, instead of just forking over money, Brown could be in danger of losing some of his prized possessions. Those include his home, wages, and money.

All three assets would help pay back the balance. On top of that, the court could do so without notifying Brown. "This court may order that a writ of execution or other enforcement may issue. Your wages, money, and property could be taken without further warning from the court," the filing reads. In Hollywood Unlocked's piece, they reported that the new amount is $1,760,654.11. That information came through from BNN.
