Le'Nalors Local News Update -" Blanche Ely’s Melvin Randall Honored "

No matter happens over the final four months, 2015 has been a banner year for Melvin Randall.
He made Broward County history when he became the first and only coach to win six state boys basketball championships.
No. 6 came when he led Blanche Ely’s boys’ basketball team to 28 straight victories this past season en route to capturing a Class 7A state championship – becoming just the fourth school in state history to notch an undefeated season and win a state title.
Then, Randall was named the All-USA Boys Basketball Coach of the Year by USA Today along with being named Florida Dairy Farmers Class 7A Coach of the Year.
So when Broward County honored Randall Tuesday, it was rich icing on an already decadent cake.
The Broward County commission honored Randall with a Proclamation of Excellence at the Fort Lauderdale Government Center East board room – recognizing his 23 years of service as an educator and coach.
“This is a true honor and definitely a blessing,” Randall said after accepting the award. “I am humbled by this and it means a lot to be recognized by Broward County.”
A few members of Randall’s family and some of his assistant coaches attended the event honoring the legendary coach.
Having a career that spans nearly two and a half decades, Randall has compiled a 482-141 career record – a mark that screams ‘Hall of Fame’.
Many associate Randall, 52, with Blanche Ely but he first made his mark – and won his first two titles – at a rival school.
He won two championships at Deerfield Beach (1997 & 1999) – leading the Bucks to a 34-1 record during the 1999 season.
Randall took over Ely in 2002 and led the Tigers to titles in 2007 then back to back titles in 2012 and 2013 followed by the 2015 crown this past March.
With his six titles, Randall moves ahead of Dillard boys’ coach Darryl Burrows, who has won five titles with the Panthers. Randall is tied with Miami Norland boys’ basketball coach Lawton Williams, who won his sixth state championship – fourth straight – in March.
After Blanche Ely held off a pesky Kissimmee Osceola team to capture a 72-60 win in the Class 7A state championship game, Randall was both reflective and deflective.

“To have six rings – I don’t take that lightly,” Randall said during the postgame press conference. “I think it’s blessing. We all know how hard it is to win one. I don’t consider it just an ‘I’ thing though. I have some great assistant coaches that work extremely hard and are very knowledgeable about the game of basketball. And they help push me and help push the kids to put us position to be successful.”

Congrats to Serena Williams

WIMBLEDON, England — Three years had passed since the Wimbledon champion’s trophy was last in her possession, so Serena Williams had some fun with it.
She held it high on Centre Court with both  arms . She balanced it on her head like a book in a 1950s charm school and walked with it . At one stage, she even playfully declined to hand it back to a Wimbledon official (understandable).
“At the beginning of the year, this is the one I really wanted to win,” Williams said. “So that was the first thing and the main thing on my mind.”
Winning Wimbledon — which Williams has now done six times — is normally a sufficient thrill on its own. And Saturday’s 6-4, 6-4 victory over Garbiñe Muguruza of Spain, which made the 33-year-old Williams the oldest Wimbledon singles champion of the Open era, was a remarkably pleasant contrast to her dark and disorienting experience at the All England Club a year ago.

Congrates Miss Williams !!

The Le'Nalors Event Update - Annual Youth Football Camp

Former National Football League players Henri Crockett and his brother Zachary Crockett returned to their hometown roots this past Saturday and put on their annual football clinic at the Four Fields Complex in Pompano Beach.
Henri Crockett, 40, who played linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos and the Minnesota Vikings, along with his brother Zachary, 42, a former fullback for the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys, treated nearly 300 local children to football drills and lunches during a USA Football FUNdamentals clinic.
Both men grew up in Pompano Beach, and graduated from Blanche Ely High School, before they both played at Florida State University in their path to the NFL.
The free, one-day clinic is designed to introduce children, ages 6-16, to football by teaching basic skills in a fun and energetic environment and is supported through a grant from the NFL Foundation.

The Le'Nalors Round Table Topic of The Week " Lebron .. Back to Clevland " ????

Now after the shock to some Heat fans .. Here is my final take on Lebron .. Nothing last forever..I seen a guy play his heart out for over 4 years in miami..rarely missing games and gave this town 4 straight finals 2 titles and a amazing 27 game win streak .. I know he had help , but remember south florida he played 7 years in Cleveland , but his greatest achievements came in that heat uniform.like the picture i put up .. Seeing the face like a little kid on Christmas day getting that gift you always wanted.. One of the greatest in his prime was with the heat.. Pippin didn't finish as a bull ..he finished as a rocket as peyton is not a colt anymore.. Times has change..love your team not the players..just enjoy your players while their here..nothing is guaranteed forever..so Mr Lebron going home to Cleveland, but remember we really did get the best part out of the deal that Cleveland didn't get to enjoy with the best player on the planet here in south florida..the best basketball run since the bulls..so Heat Fans enjoy this team .. They always seem to bounce back ..
Now Fam whats your thoughts ... Feel Free to Speak your Mind !!!

The Le'Nalors Quick Auto Info " 2014 Pagani Huayra "

Pagani says that the C9 Huayra was named after Aymara Huayra Tata, god of wind, and although the name seems impossible to pronounce at first glance, it just may be the most fitting name possible for a car dedicated so thoroughly to taming and conquering the wind.
There is no questioning the fact that Pagani's choice of styling is far from conventional, and to some off-putting, but there is also no question that the C9 is a purpose-built speed machine that aims to cut through the wind as quickly and efficiently as possible, even if that means it must boast a funny nose while doing so all the way up to 230 miles per hour.

Welcome style and design
Amongst the questionable design cues are also some much welcomed additions, such as bi-xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lamps. Out back, this Pagani features the tell-tale center-mounted quad exhaust tips and a carbon fiber rear fascia to help with aerodynamics. The exotic automaker also equipped the Huayra with two active flaps for the rear of the vehicle, intended to automatically adjust based on then-current speed and handling requirements.
Plenty of power
If the designers could have had their way without regard to aerodynamics, the Huayra we are seeing today would no doubt look different, but they didn't, and as a result Pagani has revealed a supercar that can blast from a dead stop to 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds.
That acceleration is made possible by an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which in this application cranks out an astonishing 700 horsepower, with 738 lb-ft of torque to go along with it

Less is more
Power is transferred from the engine to the wheels via a seven-speed sequential gearbox that weighs 211 pounds. Much of the suspension comes from the Zonda R, and as such, enjoys the benefits of having plenty of testing hours behind it.
Pagani made sure to strip as much weight as possible without compromising chassis strength, utilizing a carbon-titanium chassis and forged aluminum alloy suspension parts. The end result is an impressive total dry weight of under 3,000 lbs, distributed 56 percent to the rear, and 44 percent to the front.
Pagani also employed the use of unique Pirelli Pzero Rosso tires in order to withstand the immense acceleration and top speed well over 200 mph.
Some say its what is inside that counts
Pagani packed this exotic coupe with more luxury style and leather than most pure luxury sedans receive. The overall style inside seems to be remarkably similar to that of Spyker , which is to say it has a unique blend of industrial, aviation and ultra high-end luxury in terms of look and feel.

Key competitors
The Pagani C9 Huayra is a special breed of exotic supercar - some may even call it a hypercar - meant to compete with only the fastest exotics in the world. Cars in the same realm would include the Koenigsegg Agera, the Bugatti Veyron and the Lamborghini Aventador.
